YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TAKE YOUR NEWLY ADOPTED FERRETS TO THE VET FOR A CHECK UP. THIS WILL ALSO GIVE YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR VET. ASK THEM FOR THEIR RECOMMENDATION FOR  A BACK UP VET WHEN THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE. WHEN A FERRET GETS SICK, THEY DO SO FAST. THAT IS NOT THE TIME TO LOOK FOR A VET.

A ROUTINE CHECK UP IS GREAT PREVENTION FOR POTENTIAL UPCOMING ILLNESSES.
